It’s after Thanksgiving, which means it’s officially OK to discuss the “holiday season.”
Ian made us some cool S16 holiday logos. I am using the black one as my desktop image. Thought I’d share the goodies!

| Happy birthday, Phil!!!!! |
Wednesday was Phil P.’s birthday, so the company gathered in the conference room to do a few things:
1) Sing happy birthday
2) Eat some cake
3) Make fun of Phil for being French (no, it won’t ever be not funny)
Though the post is belated, here are a few pics and a video.
Jae and I bought a Nikon D90 and a Panasonic Lumix to play with today. We took about 300 pictures in 30 minutes. Here are some of the good ones.
Tamlyn and I decided we needed some holiday spirit in the S16 office, so we went to Target and bought supplies to turn this place into a fall freakin’ festival.
I carved the S16 pumpkin to the right (gorgeous? yes.)
We also purchased some fake tombstones for extra spookiness. They definitely give the office a Halloween-y atmosphere.
Check out the pics below to see the really complicated process of carving pumpkins.
And by gas I mean CO2. Let it be known that S16 has the cleanest air in Leawood!
Mike and Tamlyn did some redecorating, and there are plants everywhere. It’s like that movie Jumanji when the vines take over the big mansion. I’m expecting a frisky gang of monkeys (or the developers - observe the similarities) to pop out of David’s office and steal a police car any day now. There are also some diverse religious, outdoors-y and pirate-y trinkets.
Evidence below:
Jae and Deric recently made a trip to Seattle to look for office space with Stuart. Thankfully one of them took a lot of pretty pictures of flowers, produce and seafood… and some not-so-pretty pictures of Jae.
