Along with being at Magnet Interactive last week, Spiral16 was also represented at BIG Omaha.

The event was headlined by Gary Vaynerchuk from Wine Library TV. If you’ve never seen Gary V. speak in person, I highly recommend it.

We got a chance to interview him one-on-one about ROI. That video blog is coming later today, unless it takes me longer than that to bleep about the four-letter words. *fingers crossed*

Around 2:30 p.m. word spread of @SuperBowl‘s Twitter page. When I started following with @Spiral16, there were about 500 followers. Then @Mashable alerted people to the account and its popularity skyrocketed.

The power of Twitter as an information source is incredible. What I like about this @SuperBowl effort is the Tweets give us real-time, behind-the-scenes experiences from the biggest sporting event in America. They aren’t just directing fans to a Web page or spitting info from a blog RSS.

Who wouldn’t want to be on a plane with Jim Rome or know when the Cardinals are headed to their first practice?!

Here’s a time line of screenshots of their follow count. It grew by over 300 in just over an hour:

Jae and I bought a Nikon D90 and a Panasonic Lumix to play with today. We took about 300 pictures in 30 minutes. Here are some of the good ones.

And by gas I mean CO₂. Let it be known that S16 has the cleanest air in Leawood!

Mike and Tamlyn did some redecorating, and there are plants everywhere. It’s like that movie Jumanji when the vines take over the big mansion. I’m expecting a frisky gang of monkeys (or the developers – observe the similarities) to pop out of David’s office and steal a police car any day now. There are also some diverse religious, outdoors-y and pirate-y trinkets.

Jae and Deric recently made a trip to Seattle to look for office space with Stuart. Thankfully one of them took a lot of pretty pictures of flowers, produce and seafood… and some not-so-pretty pictures of Jae.
